Join us for an intensive half-day masterclass and get introduced to the world of software product development.

As a non-technical founder, you have this idea for a software product, be it a chatbot, a SaaS application or some online marketplace. While there’s a lot of validation you can do without having to write a single line of code, sooner or later you’ll have to start building a team that can build your app.


What you will learn

In this masterclass, you will:

  • Get basic understanding in all activities software product development entails
  • Learn what to expect from your development team, and what not
  • Get practical tips on how to communicate effectively with your technical team
  • Get valuable tips on how to evaluate CVs and potential candidates for your team

This masterclass is perfect for first time, non-technical founders, that are in the process of building their first software team. By getting a comprehensive view on all activities related to software product development, you’ll be better able to appriciate the challenges your devs are dealing with. In the process, it will make you a better compagnion for your devs. Important: this masterclass is intended for a non-technical audience, we will not show you code or learn you to program.

Our instructor Nick Boucart has 10+ years of experience in the startup ecosystem, with a proven track record of helping businesses scale. He will share his war stories, providing valuable lessons on what works and what doesn’t.

Sandwich lunch: From 12.30pm - 13.30pm

Cancellations: should be notified by email (events@sustain.brussels) . Cancellations notified 3 working days before the event are free of charge. In case of no-show or cancellation on the day itself, the fee of 105€ will be charged to cover the costs. Replacement by a colleague is always possible provided that this is notified in advance by email (events@sustain.brussels).
