Course Description

AI assistants powered by generative models are rapidly reshaping how individuals and organisations create content, manage information, and automate everyday tasks. This course provides a practical and accessible introduction to next-generation AI assistants, with a strong focus on real-world applications rather than technical theory.

Designed for non-technical professionals, the module explains how generative AI works in clear, non-jargon terms and explores its capabilities, limitations, and common misconceptions. Participants will experiment hands-on with modern AI assistants to produce documents, presentations, images, and web content, while learning how to critically assess AI-generated outputs and use them responsibly.

The course also introduces no-code automation through workflow tools, enabling participants to design simple AI-powered processes that improve efficiency and reduce repetitive work. Ethical considerations, responsible usage, and sustainability are woven throughout the programme to ensure that AI adoption supports organisational goals while respecting human judgment and accountability.

By the end of the course, participants will be equipped to confidently integrate AI assistants into their daily work, identify high-value use cases, and contribute to informed, ethical AI adoption within their organisations.
